runbookify is a newsletter and a library of build-it-yourself guides. We keep our data practices boring on purpose.

What we collect

Your email address, and which plan or page you signed up from. That's it. We don't ask for a name, and we don't buy, sell, or rent your information.

Usage analytics

To understand how the site is used, we record anonymous, first-party usage events — pages viewed, which tools you try, and which plans get downloaded — along with the referring site and a coarse location (country and region). We never store your IP address, and we identify visits only with a random, anonymous ID. We also use Google Analytics for aggregate traffic stats.

Your consent

When you submit your email — to download a plan or to subscribe — you're giving express consent to receive the weekly runbookifynewsletter and the resource you requested, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and the US CAN-SPAM Act. We record the consent wording and timestamp.

Unsubscribing

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Use it any time and we stop immediately — no hard feelings, no hoops.

How your email is handled

We store the list in our own database (Supabase) and send through Resend. Bounces and unsubscribes are honored automatically.
