Post-Job Summary & Review Request
Turn every completed service visit into a polished customer summary and, for happy jobs, a well-timed review ask - with a manager approving each batch before anything sends.
A private, team-only app that drafts a customer summary email plus a review request for each completed job, lets a manager review and approve the batch, sends it through Resend, tracks opens and clicks, and exports a clean send log as CSV.
Before you start
- A free Supabase account
- A free Vercel account
- A free Resend account (and a domain you can verify, or use the test sender to start)
- A list of completed work orders with a short summary, photos, and customer contact (a Google Sheet or CSV is fine)
- Your online review links (Google, Facebook, Yelp, etc.)
The problem this kills
The job is done, the tech drove away, and the customer is happiest they'll ever be about your work - right now. Then nothing happens. No recap of what was fixed, no photos, no "here's what to watch for next." And the five-star review you earned? It never gets asked for, so it never gets written.
Most field service teams know reviews drive new business, but the asking is manual, inconsistent, and awkward. Someone has to remember which jobs went well, write a nice note, dig up the right review link, and not pester the same customer twice. So it slips. The work that should be compounding into reputation just evaporates.
This tool catches that moment every single time - and puts a manager in control of what actually goes out.
What you'll build
A small, private web app only your team can log into. You feed it completed work orders (from a CSV or Google Sheet to start - no integration required). For each job it drafts a clean customer-facing summary: what was done, any photos, recommended next steps. For jobs marked as positive, it also drafts a friendly review request pointing at the right review link.
Nothing sends on its own. A manager opens the queue, reads each draft, edits anything that needs it, and approves the batch. Only then does it send through Resend. You see opens and clicks, you never double-send the same work order, and you can export the whole send log as a CSV for your records.
What's inside the Implementation Plan
The plan is a complete, copy-paste runbook for an AI coding agent (Claude Code). You don't write code - you paste prompts and answer questions.
It opens by interviewing you about your business - your work order numbers, how you mark a job "good," your review links, your typical and busy-season volumes, and your awkward edge cases - so the tool is tailored to how you actually work, not a generic template. The agent reads back a short spec and waits for your thumbs-up before building a thing.
From there it walks you step by step: the database, the login, importing your jobs, the AI-drafted summaries and review asks, the manager approval screen, sending through Resend, tracking, and the CSV export. Every step ends with a ready-to-paste prompt.
The governance it includes (this is the point)
- Login so only your team can use it.
- Row-level security so each company only ever sees its own jobs and customers.
- A complete audit trail - who drafted, who approved, who sent, and when.
- A hard human-in-the-loop approval gate - the AI drafts, a manager reviews and approves, and only then does anything send to a customer.
- Duplicate guards keyed on your work order ID, so the same job can never be summarized or reviewed twice.
- Consent and throttling - only ask for reviews on positive jobs, respect unsubscribes, and never hit the same customer too often.
Who it's for
Service managers, CSRs, and marketing-minded owners running an HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest, cleaning, landscaping, or any field-service business who want completed work to turn into reviews and repeat customers - without anyone having to remember to ask.
You've got this. Paste the first prompt and let the agent interview you.
